This is a very readable (non-technical) book which tells the tale
\nof one man’s struggle with an intransigent FBI out to destroy him
\nafter he exposes corruption within that organization’s heirarchy.
\nThe interconnectedness — and the danger from — the “good old boys”
\nnetwork in the security field is clearly visible in this true story.<\/p>\n
Coincidentally, I am personally acquainted with several of the
\nspooks and others this writer “flames” in his own vengeful way.
\nI find nothing that would surprise me is his (mostly unfavorable)
\ndescriptiion of these characters. The simple truth is, I have
\nfound few members of this nation’s security services to be honest
\nand honorable men. Being devious and deceptive pretty much goes
\nwith the territory, I guess. Their venality, and “street gang”
\nmentality, is perhaps over-emphasized in this sad story. But this
\nsort of conspiracy mindset (and criminal activities) is widespread
\namong those working in the security services. (And it is ALWAYS
\npresent if the Jews (MOSSAD) are even peripherally involved.) In
\nshort, they take care of their own, and they play by the simple
\nrule . . . “you have to go along to get along.” Go with the flow.<\/p>\n
The writer maintains a website where it appears most or possibly
\nall of the chapters of his book can be downloaded from a number of
\nlinks. It is clear that his aim is vindication and to expose the
\ncorruption he has found, and explain how the evildoers have
\nimpacted (some would say destroyed) his life.<\/p>\n
There is no advanced technical information in this book. The
\nbasic science behind the various eavesdropping (bugging) techniques
\nis fairly well explained, so as to make it understandable by the
\nlayman. The technology that is described was, as he put it, “twenty
\nyears old” when he wrote the book in the early 2000s . . . and
\nnot unexpectedly covers technological areas where his own work
\nwas pre-eminent. There are no references to many widely-used (if
\nroutinely denied) technologies such as tooth radios, modified
\ncommercial radios and television sets used as communications systems
\nin many parts of the world, or other standard electronic gear used
\nby modern-day spooks. He makes only passing mention of the
\n“burst transmissions” and “spread spectrum” technology used in the
\nstandard-issue credit-card sized transcievers used by every
\nintelligence agency in America (and many other countries.) The
\nSpy Museum (Washington, DC) and the internet itself are far more
\ninformative sourcess about eavesdropping technology and
\ncountermeasures. This book is instead a very personal story of one
\nman’s fight against corrupt and venal public servants — a fight
\nthat literally destroyed his life and business.<\/p>\n
