Maxwell conspired to launder the profits <br \/>\nfrom Iron-Contra through secret deposits in Russia, known<br \/>\nonly to a very few. Maxwell conspired with the Reaganite<br \/>\nracketeers and Israelis to put a back door in Inslaw’s<br \/>\nPROMIS software. Maxwell was the principle distributor of<br \/>\nthe pirated software, marketing it to intelligence agencies<br \/>\nworld-wide. Thomas claims he made $500 million in profits<br \/>\nfrom sale of the software. <\/p>\n<p> Thomas is a well-respected seasoned writer and he<br \/>\ncites impeccable sources. But the $500 million profit<br \/>\nfigure and other aspects of this story are suspect.<\/p>\n<p>? Why no mention of Danny Casolaro’s death, and his<br \/>\n investigation into the “Octopus”<\/p>\n<p>? Why no mention of what happened to INSLAW? The duplicity<br \/>\n at DOJ was so apparent that a bankruptcy court ruled<br \/>\n the DOJ “guilty” of fraud & conspiracy . . . .<\/p>\n<p>? Thomas writes (repeatedly) that a “back-door” was put<br \/>\n in a microchip. Other sources claim the back door was<br \/>\n in software.
