This is a very readable (non-technical) book which tells the tale
of one man’s struggle with an intransigent FBI out to destroy him
after he exposes corruption within that organization’s heirarchy.
The interconnectedness — and the danger from — the “good old boys”
network in the security field is clearly visible in this true story.

Coincidentally, I am personally acquainted with several of the
spooks and others this writer “flames” in his own vengeful way.
I find nothing that would surprise me is his (mostly unfavorable)
descriptiion of these characters. The simple truth is, I have
found few members of this nation’s security services to be honest
and honorable men. Being devious and deceptive pretty much goes
with the territory, I guess. Their venality, and “street gang”
mentality, is perhaps over-emphasized in this sad story. But this
sort of conspiracy mindset (and criminal activities) is widespread
among those working in the security services. (And it is ALWAYS
present if the Jews (MOSSAD) are even peripherally involved.) In
short, they take care of their own, and they play by the simple
rule . . . “you have to go along to get along.” Go with the flow.

The writer maintains a website where it appears most or possibly
all of the chapters of his book can be downloaded from a number of
links. It is clear that his aim is vindication and to expose the
corruption he has found, and explain how the evildoers have
impacted (some would say destroyed) his life.

There is no advanced technical information in this book. The
basic science behind the various eavesdropping (bugging) techniques
is fairly well explained, so as to make it understandable by the
layman. The technology that is described was, as he put it, “twenty
years old” when he wrote the book in the early 2000s . . . and
not unexpectedly covers technological areas where his own work
was pre-eminent. There are no references to many widely-used (if
routinely denied) technologies such as tooth radios, modified
commercial radios and television sets used as communications systems
in many parts of the world, or other standard electronic gear used
by modern-day spooks. He makes only passing mention of the
“burst transmissions” and “spread spectrum” technology used in the
standard-issue credit-card sized transcievers used by every
intelligence agency in America (and many other countries.) The
Spy Museum (Washington, DC) and the internet itself are far more
informative sourcess about eavesdropping technology and
countermeasures. This book is instead a very personal story of one
man’s fight against corrupt and venal public servants — a fight
that literally destroyed his life and business.
