Moonie Money: Mike Pence Gave Speech to Religious Cult’s Conference

Today on TruNews, we discuss President Trump’s VP’s first speech since leaving office, at a Unification Church rally, and we detail the twisted clandestine history of the cult, tying in the CIA, Mussolini, and an apocalyptic gun cult in the Poconos.

This update on Sun Myung Moon’s Unification Church, one of the nation’s largest and most influential cults — is truly unsettling. Few people realize how many political figures and religious leaders — many ostensibly Christian (!) — have been led astray by Moon, the charismatic (?) Korean ex-intelligence officer who claims to be the messiah. Or claimed, anyway, when he was alive. Since Moon died — doing so without benefit of resurrection — his divinity and qualifications as the savior of the human race have been called into question.

There is a lot of money at stake. The Moonie cult was reportedly used as a conduit of untraceable billions to fund ‘black programs’ promoting right-wing politics by the intelligence services of a number of Western ‘democracies’ working in concert with Asian governments. Following Moon’s untimely death (at age 92) Moon’s wife assumed leadership of the Moonie movement, claiming to be the Queen of Peace, and demanding obeisance. Not to be left out — for it would seem that a penchant for messiah-ship runs in the family — Moon’s sons have renounced their mother’s pretentions and claim that they are really the true Messengers from Heaven.

It can be a messy business, preaching the word of God to the people. But religion can be profitable … just look at America’s TV preachers, the false prophets of the airwaves. The evangelists of America’s corporate church have amassed unimaginable wealth. Instead of being in prison, where they belong, they serve as advisors to kings and presidents.

In this world of sacrilegious sleaze, none have equalled the ‘Reverend’ Sun Myung Moon. The Moonie message is simple enough: according to the current version of the Moonie gospel (preached by Moon’s son, who proudly displays a gold-plated AR-15 in an official photograph) they are on a mission — a mission to make guns for Zionist Israel, and eradicate sexual sin and sodomites in particular. Republicans eat it up. Finally, the loon right has a religion with some red meat in it: guns for the Jews and bullets for the queers. Hell, you’d think they had died and gone to heaven (at least the Republican idea of Heaven.)

In a video clip, former Vice President Mike Pence is shown groveling at Moon’s feet … or at least speaking (somewhat incoherently, as Moon and his followers are wont to do) at a weird ritual sponsored by the Moonies. Formerly, the Vice President sold himself as a born-again Christian. His conversion to New Age doctrines and acceptance of a Korean spy as the messiah will come as a surprise to many.

Some might speculate that Pence is only doing it for the money. After all, he is a lifelong politician, and politicians are basically in it for the money. Or so many people believe. I can’t speak from experience, because I don’t know any politicians personally. I keep my distance lest some of the sleaze rub off on me.

Frankly, I believe Pence is sincere, that the man truly believes. Or at least that he can read the writing on the wall. For to succeed in American politics today, it appears you have to be flaky. And evangelizing for the Moonies is about as flaky as you can get.

But … assuming the man to be sincere (and giving him the benefit of the doubt) what exactly does the new Mike Pence believe? That is hard to say, because the Moonies are the only group in American politics with a less coherent message than the LaRouchites. Mormons come from outer space (a long, long time ago) like the Scientologists. But nobody can say for sure where the Moonies claim to have originated. I mean seriously, what planet are they from? (Uranus?) [1]

We might not know where they are from, but it should be fairly obvious where they all are headed. As the real Messiah foretold, “Many will come in my name….”

Regrettably, live ‘news’ and the video podcast format are not well suited to serious political discourse. This material is very good, and reveals how far from reality the country has drifted. Perhaps if enough people ask the Trunews staff to produce more special reports on topics like this, they will realize that there is a pressing need for this kind of reporting. Nothing less than the fate of the American nation is at stake here.
